Communication is a key component of a well-disciplined learning environment. CMS welcomes families to come by, call, or email when you have questions regarding your student. Please make sure the main office has your current phone numbers on file so we can contact you if necessary.
Bullying is not tolerated at CMS. Students that have concerns about bullying need to stop by the counselor's office and fill out a bully report form. Mrs. Bednar, our CMS Counselor, will consult with the initial phase of a bully report. Severe and/or continual misbehavior will result in a referral to the assistant principal. Remember, reporting is not snitching; we must know what is going on in order to assist with this unacceptable behavior. Together, we can keep CMS a safe place to learn!
Dress code is an important consideration during the middle school years. Our CMS young ladies and young men are learning to balance their need for independence with the requirement to learn successful habits for the future work place. The dress code is approved by our local school board, and students must comply with the CMS dress code.
Behavior is expected to be respectful and dignified at CMS. Our young people are growing in knowledge that will lay the foundation for success at high school. A learning environment that is free from disruption gives our students the highest probability of future success. Thank you for supporting CMS in helping mold our young people into independent, self-disciplined students who will have positive behavior habits that will assist them throughout school and into the work place.
