STUDENTS
* Know what work you need to complete. (Be sure you have written assignments in your agenda.)
* Have a quiet place to do your work. (No TV, games, phones, conversations to distract you.)
* Take SHORT breaks when needed. (Stand up, stretch, walk around the room.)
PARENTS
* Check your child's agenda so you know what he/she needs to complete.
* Provide a place -- free of distractions-- for your child to study.
* Look at the work -- to be sure it is complete-- and ask your child to explain the work to you. |

Our challenge is to be a bully-free campus! Let's work together to be kind, courteous, and respectful to everyone at CMS. It doesn't take much effort. All it takes is a smile, a kind word, a helping hand, and restraint. If we at CMS are capable of being successful students in the classroom and successful athletes, then we are capable of making this a bully-free campus.
We must ALL ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE! |

PARENTS: If you would like to schedule a conference with a teacher, please call the CMS office and ask for me. I'll work out a day and time that's convenient for you and the teacher. We can schedule a conference with a single teacher or with multiple teachers.

A reminder to all CMS students and parents: In order to be promoted to the next grade level, a student must pass all core subjects with a year average of 70 or higher for each subject. At this time, NO summer school is planned for CMS.""
