As a parent of a student at Caldwell High School, you have the right to know the professional qualifications of the classroom teachers who instruct your child, and the Federal law requires the school district to provide you this information in a timely manner if you request it.  Specifically, you have the right to request the following information about each of your child's classroom teachers:

  • Whether the teacher meets the state qualifications and licensing criteria for the grades and subjects he/she teaches.
  • Whether the teacher is teaching under emergency or provisional status because of special circumstances.
  • The teacher's college major, whether the teacher has any advanced degrees, and the field of discipline of the certification or degree.
  • Whether paraprofessionals provide services to your child and, if so, their qualifications.

If you would like to receive any of this information, please contact the principal at 979.567.9030.

All students that drive onto the CHS campus MUST have a 2012-2013 car tag.  Students may come to the main office and complete the car registration form.  Car tags are $5.00.

All CHS students are required to wear an ID badge.  Replacement badges may be purchased before school at a cost of $5.00 each.  A student may wear a temporary ID for 2 consecutive days only.  They will then be required to replace their permanent ID.  Failure to replace the ID will result in disciplinary measures.

Remember...work may be requested from the front office when a student has been absent for 2(two) or more consecutive days.  Assignments that were picked up during the student's absence are due upon the student's return to school.
